312 Negros cops promoted

A total of 312 police personnel assigned at the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office and Bacolod City Police Office, have been promoted to the next higher rank.

PLt. Abegael Donasco, deputy spokesperson of the Negros Occidental Police Provincial Office, reported yesterday that 244 police non-commissioned officers and four police commissioned officers were promoted to the next higher rank.

PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police Office, also reported yesterday that 64 BCPO personnel have been promoted to the next higher rank.

Of the promoted BCPO personnel, 63 of them are police non-commissioned officers, as well as P/Capt. Rondyl Tapang, who is the BCPO deputy chief for Mobile Patrol Unit.

Indiape said that the tentative date of pinning of ranks for newly promoted BCPO personnel has been set on December 10.

PCol. Joseph Thomas Martir, BCPO acting police director, is expected to lead the pinning of ranks ceremony.

Five police personnel of EB Magalona Police Station in Negros Occidental, were also among 244 PNCOs of NOCPPO promoted to the next higher rank.

Promoted were PSMSgt Lawrence Mangco, PMsgt Hazel Badian, PSSgt. Bryan Aparico, PCpl. JHose Azarraga and P/Cpl. Dahpne Marie Beldua.*
