The Bacolod Sangguniang Panlungsod requested Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez to allocate and assign the building space below the ABC Office at the Bacolod Arts and Youth Sports (BAYS) Center for a Livelihood Showroom.
The resolution authored by Councilor Jude Thaddeus Sayson said the Livelihood Showroom at the Old City Hall, plays an important role in promoting various cooperative, livelihood and economic activities for the people of Bacolod City.
The building space below the ABC Office at the BAYS Center is a more visible and accessible location for the Livelihood Showroom, it said.
Meanwhile, the SP also approved a resolution requesting the Bacolod City Engineer’s Office to survey the road from Cegasco-Cabug junction to Brgy, Handumanan for its possible repair and to determine the lot owners affected for possible expropriation of their properties.
The resolution also authored by Sayson said there is a need to request the CEO to check the abovementioned road, which is in very bad condition, and to conduct a survey from Cegasco-Cabug junction to Brgy. Handumanan for possible repair.*
