Eleven houses in Barangay 18 in Bacolod City were placed under lockdown Monday after a female teacher from a private school tested positive for coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
Barangay Captain Medeline Diaz of Brgy. 18 said yesterday that they also sealed off a house in the main road and First Road of Purok Cordova where a nurse and an IT employee live. Other houses that were sealed off are in Purok Everlasting.

The second Road of Purok Cordova is also under lockdown after two residents, who are IT personnel of CLMMRH, tested positive for COVID-19. They are roommates of another COVID positive patient.
Contact tracings are being conducted on residents who have been in close contact with the new positive cases.
Records show that there are 396 confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Bacolod City as of Tuesday. There are 100 recovered cases, 287 active cases and nine deaths.*
