NOLITC looking for EB Magalona scholars

The Negros Occidental Language and Information Technology Center (NOLITC), is offering scholarship to Saraviahanons, for its courses for School Year 2023.

NOLITC vocational school administrator Dr. Ma. Cristina Orbecido, in her letter to EB Magalona Mayor Marvin Malacon, said they are offering scholarship slots for qualified Negrenses for six courses this year.

They will conduct screening of Saraviahanon applicants and pre-assessment exams on February 2, from 8 a.m. to 12 noon, at the E. B. Magalona Public Plaza.

The courses being offered by NOLITC this year are: Contact Center Services NC II (144 hours), 2D Animation NC III (968 hours), Animation NC II (616 hours), Visual Graphic Design NC III (487 hours), Software Development Training Program (5 months), and Software Development Training Program JR (200 hours).

The qualification requirements are: 18 years old or above; unemployed or underemployed; High school graduate (old curriculum), Senior High school graduate, college level, college graduate, college dropout, ALS passer; must pass the Pre-Assessment Exam; of good moral character.

Orbecido said scholarship applicants need not bring any documents to the screening and pre-assessment exams.
