The Revenue Inspection and Miscellaneous Services Section (RIMSS) of City Treasurer’s Office (CTO) – License Division, assisted by the City Legal Office (CLO) enforcement team, are conducting an ongoing calibration of weighing scales in public markets of Bacolod City.
Seven out of 261 weighing scales were confiscated at the Libertad Public Market during the initial operation.
RIMSS-CTO and CTO are continuing the calibration and inspection for defective and underweight weighing scales in major public markets, bagsakan, and barangay satellite markets.
Vendors interested in voluntarily calibrating their weighing scales may visit the RIMSS-CTO located at the ground floor of Bacolod City Hall.*
