Riding in tandem suspects yesterday gunned down a 31-year-old seashell diver at Purok Kingfisher, Brgy. 16, Bacolod City.
The victim, identified by the police as Mark Christian John Luceño, 31, succumbed to multiple gunshot wounds and died on the spot.
Investigations of the Police Station 1 showed that the unidentified suspects, riding a motorcycle, approached and shot the victim, alias Bajao, who was sitting in a pedicab.
An unidentified gunman also shot and killed a certain Reynaldo Moreno, 57, on Thursday at Purok 5 in Brgy. Asia, Hinobaan, Negros Occidental.
Dionela Gomez, live in partner of Moreno, told the Hinobaan police that she and her stepdaughter, Mary, were preparing dinner inside their makeshift house when they heard successive gunshots.
They later found out that the victim, who was shot and succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries.
Recovered from the scene of incident were three empty shells of .45 caliber pistol.
The two shooting incidents are still being investigated by the police.*
