An alleged member of Aki Cuadra robbery hold-up group was shot and killed on Wednesday by unidentified gunmen at Purok Cabacauan in Brgy. Villamonte, Bacolod City.
The victim was identified by the police as Arian Mark Salaver, alias Jokjok.
Police investigations show that Salaver, 31, succumbed to multiple gunshot injuries. He died on the spot, according to PLt. Liberty Indiape, deputy spokesperson of the Bacolod City Police Office.
The suspects behind the death of Salaver were reported by witnesses to have been wearing hats and face masks.
Last month, four members of the Aki Cuadra Group were also abducted, killed, and had their cadavers dumped in different areas of Bacolod City, Murcia and Bago City.*
