An alleged drug personality and two others were killed in shooting incidents on June 14 in Negros Occidental, with the identities of the gunmen still unknown, as of this writing, the police said.
Sunny Tapdasan, 44, who was alleged by the police to be a drug personality, succumbed to gunshot wounds in the forehead after he was shot in Sitio Biaren, Brgy. Linao, Kabankalan City.
Tapdasan, of Brgy. Tampalon, Kabankalan City, was found bathed in his own blood and lying on the roadside near his black Euro motorcycle, without a plate number. He was declared dead on arrival at the Kabankalan District Hospital, the police said.
Recovered from the scene of incident were two fired cartridges and two deformed slugs of a .45 caliber pistol, while a wallet containing several identification cards, including that of PhilHealth and of a CIDG confidential informant, a driver’s license, P500 in cash, a handcuff, and five sachets of suspected shabu were recovered from the body of the victim, a police report said.
An unidentified gunman also shot and killed Joey dela Torre, 24, in Sitio Ronil, Brgy. San Isidro, EB Magalona, the police said.
The shooting incident is still being investigated by the EB Magalona Police Station.

A tricycle driver, identified as Rex Palma, was also shot in the head by his passenger in Purok Paho, Brgy. Ma-ao, Bago City.
The gunman, who was wearing a yellow jacket and maong pants, fled on board a black motorcycle driven by his companion, who was waiting for him, about 50 meters from the crime scene, initial investigation of the Bago City police showed.
Palma, 40, was declared dead on arrival at the Bago City District Hospital, the police added.*
