Policemen yesterday seized P136,000 worth of suspected illegal drugs from an arrested woman at Purok Kabulakan 1 in Brgy. Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.
Nabbed during a buy-bust operation was Sarian Joy Cagayanan, 33, of Brgy. 35, Bacolod City, who was tagged by the police as a street level individual drug personality.
Personnel of the Bacolod City Police Office Station 8 recovered about 20 grams of suspected shabu during the buy-bust operation.
PLt. Col. Arnel Solis, regional police spokesman, said that Cagayanan was arrested after she sold a sachet of suspected shabu, worth P500, to a police poseur- buyer.
A certain alias “Tangkay”, who was the subject of the buy-bust operation, however managed to escape. It was Cagayanan who had turned over the illegal drugs to the police poseur-buyer, after receiving the marked money, Solis said.
Also recovered from the arrested suspect were a black sling bag and P500 in marked money, aside from illegal drugs, he added.
Policemen also recovered a sachet of suspected shabu from Jessierine Jade Balasabas, who was creating alarm scandal on November 18 at Purok 5, Brgy. Aguisan, Himamaylan City, Negros Occidental.*
