The long arm of the law finally caught up with the number one most wanted person in Western Visayas, following his arrest at Purok Kabulakan in Brgy. Zone 10, Talisay City, Negros Occidental.

The arrested fugitive identified by the Talisay City police as Ivan Tribaco, has a pending arrest warrant for three counts of murder, issued by Judge Lina Palencia Gonzales.

Tribaco was tagged as a suspect in the killing of a woman and her two children in Talisay City, Negros Occidental, on March 28.

The three victims were on their way home on board a motorcycle, when they were shot by the suspect in Brgy. Matab-ang, Talisay City.

Tribaco was tagged by the police as the Top 1 Most Wanted Person in Western Visayas.

PCol. Leo Pamittan, provincial police director of Negros Occidental, commended the Talisay City police force headed by Lt. Col. Cenon Vargas Jr for their diligence and dedication to duty that led to the arrest of Tibaco on May 12.

Meanwhile, another fugitive of the law identified by the police as Felix Quizon, alias Katong, was also apprehended on May 18 in Sitio Balibag, Brgy. Lopez Jaena, Sagay City, Negros Occidental.

Quizon, 45, of Sitio Laon, Brgy. Divina Colonia, Sagay City, has pending arrest warrant for the crime of frustrated murder, which was issued by Judge Reginald Fuentebella, who recommended bail of P200,000.

He is now detained at the Sagay City police custodial facility.*
